General Summary

Qualcomm is expanding its automotive compute leadership in high performance cockpit electronics to L2/L3/L4 ADAS & autonomous driving solutions and has a worldwide team to actively design and prototype the brain of next-generation autonomous vehicles. Especially in Seoul, South Korea, we are looking for a talented principal engineer to work on one or more of the following related to deep learning:

• Lead a research team developing 2D/3D camera perception algorithms (2D/3D object detection, semantic segmentation, …) and increasing their scalability/adaptability
• Communicate with internal/external teams to share/adopt useful technologies
• Lead and help local customers who would like to run the latest deep neural networks on Snapdragon SoCs and ML HW accelerators
• You will have the opportunity to closely collaborate with a group of top talents in deep learning and autonomous driving globally.
   

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong understanding and experience of computer vision and machine learning Good presentation skills and positive interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 8+ years of related work experience
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in one of deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, …)
• Good programming skills in Python/C/C++
• Industry experience working with(in) OEM/Tier-1 for autonomous driving
