An exciting, permanent opportunity has become available within our Data & Optimisation (D&O) team for an Associate Data Scientist. Our D&O team is part of Technology & Transformation, providing data and insights to deliver strategic initiatives.

You will play a key role in delivering core data science & analytics assets, providing Business Intelligence insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver analytics and data science activities within the Data and Optimisation team.
• Provide validating metrics to support problem verification, sizing and benefit values.
• Utilise fit for purpose technical solutions, modelling, reporting, data mining and analytics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in and support the rollout of process improvement activities.
• Routine queries & other data extraction techniques to manage information.

Skills & Experience

• Proven, relevant experience in a similar role
• Stakeholder management skills
• Collaborative and flexible approach
• Coding skills (entry level)
• Proficient capability with analytic techniques and tools (Python, R, SQL, BI Tools)
