Responsibilities:
• Prototype predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
• Offer in-depth data-driven insights to business stakeholders
• Build and own ML-powered features and products
• Design, build, and evaluate product experiments
• Shape the direction of Sary s data infrastructure
• Build internal tooling to promote data-driven decision making within the organization
• Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across product, operations, marketplace, and marketing teams
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst
• Understanding of data science and machine learning concepts
• Knowledge of R, SQL, and Python. Familiarity with other programming languages is an asset
• Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Google Looker, Tableau), data frameworks (e.g. Apache Spark, Hadoop), and machine learning frameworks(e.g. scikit-learn, Pytorch, Tensorflow)
• Analytical mind and business acumen
• Strong math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra)
• Great communication and documentation skills
• Bachelor s degree in a relevant field is required; Master s or PhD preferred
