• A bachelors degree or higher in a numerical or scientific field, such as; Statistics, Physics, Actuarial Studies, Engineering
• Genuine commercial experience in applying statistical modelling or machine learning techniques including regression, decision trees, predictive models, GLM or GBM.
• Confident communication skills and experience presenting ideas, insights and reports to stakeholders (this could be to consulting clients or internal stakeholders)
• Extracting data and building/maintaining/optimising models using SQL, R or SAS
• Experience with one of the major cloud providers in Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Experience with Python, Spark, Pandas, Numpy etc would be advantageous
