    Job Description :

    Main Responsibilities

    • Oversee data acquisition, developing data set processes. data integrity, quality and consistency throughout the data sources
    • Lead the development of data analytics solutions and pipeline development (data structures / reporting and processes) in collaboration with Data Science team commiserate with business needs
    • Responsible for deep dive/investigating the data from multiple sources with an exploratory mindset to uncover relationships and insights relevant to the business
    • Develop new data stores with team members; use programming language and tools to transform, combine, and clean data in preparation for analysis; document data definitions and issues for future reference
    • Facilitate sharing of insights and intelligence in a manner that is easy to understand (for non-technical audience) and recommend specific action
    • Support establishing and documenting modeling standards and processes, including: identify and define problem, and design approach; prepare, explore, transform, and select data; build, validate, and deploy analytic solutions/models; and monitor and evaluate results
    • Leverage and implement advanced analytics solutions (incl. machine learning/AI) to drive solutions to help drive better, faster business decision making
    • Handle complex structured and unstructured data sets from internal and external sources
    • Collaborate with Marketing, Innovation, product design and customer teams in data management and extraction of insights
    • Drive data quality, availability, analytics capability throughout the company. Take ownership of quality, accuracy and usability of data and reporting structure/dashboards
       

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in statistics, computer science, engineering, math, econometrics, or other quantitative decision sciences
    • 3+ years of practical experience in data analysis and inference – preferably in FMCG industry and/or experience with full lifecycle data science projects
    • Demonstrated ability to translate data analysis to information, insights and link to application/business
    • Experience working with relational databases (SQL) as well as non-relational databases (NoSQL); must have Microsoft SQL proficiency
    • Experience with analytics software tools or languages (R, Python, SPSS, etc.) and machine learning techniques.
    • Working knowledge on development and scaling analytic solutions (incl. in the cloud)
    • Working knowledge in visualization platforms and customization (Power BI, Tableau etc)
    • Highly analytical with a strong grasp of modern statistical methods and advanced techniques such as machine learning/AI
    • Strong interpersonal skills, written / verbal communication skills
    • Strong cross-functional team skills to work with market experts, consumer research, commercial and other colleagues with varied backgrounds to support translation and addressing of business needs to analytical solutions
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills: able to explain Analytics in non-technical terms to business users and other diverse audiences
    • Nice-to-have:
      • Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus
      • Experience with Azure cloud services and tools: SSIS/ Azure Data Factory, Analysis Services, Azure Data Catalog, etc.
      • Experience Working with flat files and APIs from third party vendors
