The Day-To-Day Activities
Subject matter expert of advanced analytics methodology and machine learning algorithm.
Understanding business objectives and developing data science solutions that help to achieve business goals, along with metrics to track their progress.
Help stakeholders understand the potential, limitations and results of data product.
To prototype, design, develop and implement large-scale big data science solutions.
Develop and implement advanced analytics use cases with statistical and machine learning, graph theory, GIS and NLP to yield business value from data.
Utilizes internal and external data to generate features, derive insight, visualize pattern, and support impactful decision-making.
Implement predictive modeling, multivariate analysis, research design, association rules, time series analysis, survival analysis, forecasting and optimization techniques to formulate and solve data analysis problems.
Understanding the challenges of explainable algorithms, applying modern explainable methods to measure their fairness.
Managing available resources so that milestones are met.
About You
At least 5 years hands-on data science experience working on real business problems, more years' experience preferred.
Proficiency with Python-based libraries for data science such as scikit-learn, numpy, scipy, pandas, statsmodels, matplotlib, and seabon.
Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL.
Knowledge of distributed systems and stream processing.
Knowledge of other coding languages such as Shell Script and Java.
Excellent team-oriented and interpersonal skills, with a strong interest in creative problem-solving.
Good communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate findings and present solutions.
Read and understand the scientific papers.
Skills:
Familiarity with Cloud-based environments such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
Familiarity with on-premises big data environments such as Cloudera, Hortonworks or MapR.
Experience with a scalable framework, such as Dask, Ray, CUDA or Spark.
Experience with real-time processing framework, such as Kafka.
Experience building artificial intelligence models in frameworks such as Keras, TensorFlow or PyTorch.
