Job Description

You will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions for systems, large-scale data sets, data mining, and research purposes. This will include:

• To undertake periodic benchmarking exercise to ensure data quality on analytical data platform is within expectation.
• Be resourceful in researching for new data source to expand the existing data analytics products.
• Create and generate score bands, also subset to calculate score statistics on score level.
• Perform scorecard validation for SME Financial Ratios.
• Understand regulatory requirement i.e. (Basel or IFRS9) and use Bureau Data.
• Support project for Financial/SME scorecard development and post development.
• Demonstrate knowledge of supporting data processes.
• Assist in project research analysis on credit bureau operations / credit rating / credit analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree/MBA in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Data Science or related fields;
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a data analysis/risk analysis/scorecard/model developing environments.
• Possess data analytical skills, preferably in credit data;
• Skills in MS Office applications, in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint and BI Reporting Tools.
• Fluent in both English and Bahasa Malaysia;
• Possess excellent listening, problem-solving and decision making skills.
