Job Content

• Assist in the implementation, enhancement and maintenance of a workflow supporting software system (Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) in various bioprocess and biopharmaceutical development groups.
• Ensure their efficient use and process modeling.
• Implementation of laboratory-related workflows in the LIMS system.
• Technical integration of near-laboratory analysis instruments.
• Independent programming of modules and macros in LIMS-Basic as well as independent data analysis or data programming of database objects.
• Conceptual and practical development of data analysis software (Spotfire, Qlikview, Cognos).
• Creation of user requirements and technical documentation with the inclusion of specific expertise.
• Review and adaptation of laboratory processes to the system processes
• Assistance with first level support for laboratory technicians and project managers via hotline or service mailbox.

Requirements

• Completed Master's/Bachelor's/Diploma studies in the fields of computer science/business informatics or bioinformatics as well as biotechnology with several years of professional experience or completed training with many years of relevant professional experience.
• SQL knowledge
• Very good command of written and spoken English
• Self-evident handling of common office software
• Independent and goal-oriented way of working, reliability as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
