The department has international culture created by excellent employees joined around the world and provides the cutting-edge data science. Following the strategic vision “ Rakuten as a data-driven membership company ” , AISSD is expanding our data activities across our multiple Rakuten group companies.
Position Details
We Are Looking For a Data Analyst To Work Within One Of The Following Departments Within Our AI Success Supervisory Department (AISSD)
Data Science Consulting Department (DSCD)
Analytics Data Engineering Department (ADED)
Catalog Management Department (CAMD)
Enterprise Consulting Department (ECD)
Mandatory Qualifications
Strong interest and understanding about data, data analysis, and making business value by utilizing data
Experience at a data analysis specialized company or in a data analysis specialized department
Analytical skills in utilizing data related tools or solution (Ex. SQL, Python, R)
Deep understanding of various business model in relevant businesses (see above scope)
Working experience of analytical research or strategic analysis
Capability for problem solving, strategic thinking, hypothesis thinking
Business level communication both English and Japanese
Balance of standalone capability and team collaboration.
Grit (Never give up mind)
Desired Qualifications
More than 3 years of experience working at a business consulting firm
Experience of executive communication and presentation
Strategic partnership or investment related skills such as deal sourcing, valuation, contracting
Experience of new business development or business process designing
