Job Description
• Lead the establishment of a vehicle Cyber Security Management System (CSMS) based on the ISO 21434 standard and UNECE R155/R156 regulations.
• Work closely with product development (system, hardware, software) engineers and guide them for cybersecurity activities (analysis, development, validation) during various phases of product development.
• Support organization-wide reviews, audits, and cybersecurity assessments.
• Support product development teams with Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) processes.
• Report and escalate system vulnerabilities and incidents to the management and all relevant stakeholders.
• Organize penetration testing activities with internal and external teams.
• Prepare high quality process and test documentation.
Requirements
• BS/MS or equivalent degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, information technology or other related technical discipline is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Threat analysis and risk assessment, cybersecurity requirements definition, penetration or other forms of security testing, intrusion detection and prevention systems.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity processes in the connected vehicle or Internet-of-Things (IoT) domain.
• Working knowledge in one or more modern programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, C (preferred), C++ is a plus.
• Familiarity with automotive/industrial software development and validation processes.
• Familiarity with automotive network communication protocols (e.g., CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, SAE J1939) or network topologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostic protocols (ISO 14229) is a plus.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
• Ability to work individually or as part of an engineering team in a fast-paced environment.
