Summary

This is a Lead Cyber Security Technical Application Engineer role , reports to Technical Application Engineering Leader located in Chennai. You will be Responsible to Positioning and Promoting Grid Automation Cyber Security offering and solutions in line with Grid Automation Strategy and according to the market requirement. He will also responsible for supporting ITR/OTR team in proposing and validation of cyber security solutions

Job Description Roles and Responsibilities

• Positioning and Promoting Grid Automation Cyber Security offering and solutions in line with Grid Automation Strategy and according to the market requirement.

• Work closely with customers in Promoting and Positioning Grid Automations Cyber Security offerings

• Work closely with various regulatory bodies in the region, representing Grid Automation and contribute in shaping up cyber securing guidelines & features.

• Responsible for supporting sales and tendering team in making technical offer for the cybersecurity requirement and validating the technical offer.

• Responsible for necessary training to Sales, Tendering and Execution teams.

• Presentation and training to customer on Grid Automaton Cyber offering.

• Drive spec-in activity with the customer

• Provide feedback to the Product Line on products gaps and features needed in the GE offering to meet and exceed market expectations

• Develop action plans with guidance to respond to issues, approvals of new solutions and increasing market share with existing product portolio

• Interact with external agencies to facilitate the compliances to cybersecurity related certifications. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics engineering / Electronics & Communication / Computer Science with minimum 10 years of relevant experience.

• Knowledge of Security, Authentication, Authorization, Certificate Management and cryptography.

• Good knowledge on Substation / Control Center communication protocols like IEC 61850, Modbus, DNP 3.0, IEC60870-5-101/103/104

• Networking Topologies, Routing and Protocols

• Good Knowledge on Cyber Security Standards – IEC62443, IEC62351, IEEE1686, NERC-CIP, ISO 27000 series.

• Good understanding of Cyber Security Testing based on relevant standards, which include VAPT / Pen testing.

• Good Understanding of Cyber Security Vulnerability Assessment

• Should have good knowledge on patch management services Desired Characteristics
