Maintaining service queues and process documentation, monitoring report generation and delivery, providing recommendations for service enhancements, and assisting with other requested deliverables
Contributing to daily, weekly and monthly to status reporting
Researching solutions and tools that would provide an efficient, streamlined, and scalable approach while maintaining a high quality of service
Collaborating with in-house development team
Key Skill Sets Include, But Are Not Limited To
A strong understanding of cybersecurity information technology, security applications, and networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, web and email protocols)
Knowledge of technical controls
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a team player mentality
Analytic experience in reviewing reports and providing a basic analysis of findings and results
Experience with network and vulnerability scanning (Nmap and Nessus is preferred)
Experience remediating a wide variety of vulnerabilities
Experience quickly researching solutions for enhancing responses to request for information
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of analytic experience in reviewing reports and providing a basic analysis of findings and results
Minimum 2 years of experience with network and vulnerability scanning
Minimum 2 years of experience remediating a wide variety of vulnerabilities
Minimum 2 years of experience with MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Suitability Determination
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience Preferred Qualifications
Ability to create ad-hoc scripts (experience with Python and JSON is preferred)
Experience with troubleshooting network connections/scanning
Experience using JIRA or another ticketing system to track task status
