Engineering Leadership
Ability to evolve security strategy based on research, data, and business trends
Use a data-driven approach to drive security posture improvements and influence decision-making.
Practical security engineering with layered architecture concepts, including network, identity services, web application firewall, encryption, and endpoint security.
Good hands-on experience in encryption methods and standards.
Experience with public cloud-native security setups and integrations
Work closely with global technology, application engineering teams at state street to develop strategy, and implement “zero trust” layered security initiatives.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or advanced engineering degree strongly preferred.
5+ years of hands-on experience in cyber engineering practice.
Expert in system design and architecture frameworks (Good to have: NIST CSF, SABSA)
Hands on architecture experience in leading cloud based applications, like AWS, Azure, GCP
Experience in building applications using Open sources, MIT libraries and commercial products.
Outstanding critical thinking, analytical and quantitative abilities gained through large-scale high-impact strategy assignments.
Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and managing large-scale engineering organizational change initiatives—exhibit resilience and tenacity to keep stakeholders energized and committed to journey throughout the change lifecycle, managing fatigue, and sticking with the change to realize expected business benefits.
Strong communication skills to promote critical wins and new behaviors throughout the organization
Collaborative leadership and work style with the ability to effectively interact with and earn the trust of peers and senior management across the organization
