About This Role

As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for design, develop and deliver high-performance, high-traffic and high-throughput digital platform in the FinTech industry. You will work in an energetic team of a fast-growing tech company which share the common goal of driving technical excellence and deliver quality software. You will get plenty of chance to code, learn and build up your career in the FinTech domain.

What you’ll do and what success looks like in this role

• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding and scaling our site
• Work with web designers to develop website and user interface
• Integrate data from various back-end web services and database
• Test websites and applications in different browser environments
• Perform technical feasibility evaluation based on functional and non-functional requirements and other constraints
   

What Is Required And What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related field
• 5 years professional experience in Web and Mobile application development
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Angular, JavaScript etc
• Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) practices
• Sound knowledge in content management systems such as WordPress and Drupal
• Experience with mobile development (iOS, Android), Reactive Native, Ionic Framework, etc…
• Experience with API, SQL or NoSQL databases, AWS cloud platforms and DevOps concepts
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize web pages for security and responsiveness
• Fluent in English and Chinese, good written and verbal communication skills
