This company provides a real estate and geographic information analysis/management platform (BtoB software) for real estate companies and financial institutions. The real estate market generates an incredible amount of data. Their product integrates publicly available information and client data to lower real estate transaction costs and simplify complex investment workflows. They show real estate trends and market opportunities so that their clients are able to make better investment decisions. Their product improves the underwriting and due diligence process by making it easier to access and understand data. It also promotes information sharing, business standardization, and paperless operations. Although they have proven a market need and obtained product-market-fit, they still believe they are in the beginning stages of building their own platform. They have many ideas for the future expansion of their platform.

Roles and responsibilities

• Mainly be responsible for developing an effective, maintainable, and clean design and user interface for the in-house real estate analysis platform as a senior front-end engineer.
• You will be involved in collaborating with the CTO, PdM in their team to define, clarify, and improve feature requirements and bring your own ideas for the improvement of the codebase, coding standards, and design patterns, and software architecture, etc.
• You are also expected to provide technical direction and guidance to other engineers.

Desired Experiences/Skills

• A genuine passion for UI/UX, software design, and software development.
• Experience in developing a component-based SPA framework with Vue.js, React, or Svelte.
• Solid understanding of the security, performance, and scalability implications of their code.
• Understanding of clean code, refactoring, and thorough testing.
• Conversational-level Japanese.
