• Drive the engagements with customers from the architectural pillar, from design to delivery
• Work in close collaboration with other architects, technical consultants and professional services teams within Rackspace and customer’s teams
• Deliver high-quality work to customers as part of consulting engagements that can be delivered through workshops, presentations or solutions architecture designs
• Work with customers across multiple regions depending on customer locations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Extensive experience in developing, maintaining and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics
• Good experience and knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture
• Skilled Tableau Developer with experience in implementing best practice in analytics and visualization, promote agile delivery, and help expose data
• Experience with Data level security, maintaining users, groups and role in Tableau
• Development and deployment of Tableau, implement and maintain test strategies and plans
• Drive the engagements with customers from the architectural pillar, from design to delivery, create runbooks etc.
• Should be able to install and configure Multi Node Tableau Architecture in Linux and Window Environments
• Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.
• Work with customers and the wider Rackspace organizations on re-thinking and re-designing IT Data landscapes using cloud-native technologies
• Excellent technical architecture skills, design and deliver innovative Proof of Concepts for customers.
• Mentor and train other architects/Engineer within the wider Rackspace community on Tableau and other tools like Looker

Qualifications & Experience

• 8+ Years of experience in Tableau development and Tableau Administration
• 2+ years of experience in delivering Azure/GCP/AWS Data Solutions.
• Experienced in DW/BI, ETL and Data related technologies and tools
• Experienced working with any public cloud platform like AWS, GCP or Azure
• Experience with configuring Tableau with different Identity stores and have knowledge of Integrating with Azure AD for SAML.
• Develop reports, dashboards, scorecards
• Gather business requirements, elicit technical requirements, prepare report specifications
• Managing Tableau Server
• Twisting SQL queries for improving performances
• A solid understanding of SQL, rational databases, and normalization.
• Proficiency in use of query and reporting analysis tools.
• DW/BI, ETL and Data related technologies and tools
• Good conceptual knowledge and working experience on report/dashboard creation, creating report specifications, integration test planning & testing, unit test planning & testing, UAT & implementation support
• Provide support and expertise to the business community to assist with better utilization of Tableau.
• Understand business requirements, conduct analysis, and recommend solution options
• Should be good with writing SQL queries and Stored procedures
• Working closely with the business, this role will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining Tableau Workbooks
• Tableau certification or any Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Developer, GCP Professional Data Engineer or Microsoft Data / AI certifications
• Technical degrees in computer science, software engineering
• Deep understanding of data architecture and application.
• Hands on experience as a database, data warehouse, big data/analytics developer/administrator or data scientist.
• Working knowledge of modern software development practices and technologies such as agile methodologies and DevOps.
