We support our customers in developing modern, tailor-made communication and navigation systems for surface ships as well as high-precision radar systems and control systems for submarines. As a Software Development Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping these systems.

26382 - Wilhelmshaven (Lower Saxony)

Tasks

You are responsible for programming in Java, C/C++ or Ada of systems used in the marine environment.

In addition, you are responsible for the simulation and integration of interfaces of these systems.

Programming of software in distributed systems.

You will bring your experience into the development of analysis tools or create them yourself.

Testing and test automation of the programmed software.

Qualifications

You have successfully completed a degree in computer science or alternatively a completed training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) with several years of professional experience.

Very good knowledge of Java and or C/C++ and the associated frameworks distinguishes you.

Knowledge of Ada is desirable.

You are very familiar with JIRA or SVN/Git and have already worked in an agile team.

Experience with DIS/ HLA is an advantage.

A committed and structured approach as well as high motivation.

Good German and English skills are required.
