How You’ll Help Us Connect The World

As a Staff SW Engineer working with the Software Manager, you will be learning with and be part of the team developing groundbreaking and high-quality embedded products with a strong focus on STB and PayTV Technology.

In a customer-facing role, you will have full responsibility for generating and maintaining quality SW, designs, and associated documentation for software components in compliance with current CommScope processes and to meet the project requirements.

Principal Accountabilities

• Develop embedded Linux/RTOS solutions for STB. Develop and integrate the SW interfaces to connect SW Application layers.
• Learn with the team. Analyse and develop interfaces and drivers, debug field issues and suggest/modify changes to support software enhancements.
• Triage customer requests to prioritise and validate issues and submit them into the tracking system, so they can be either closed or raised.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent Technology field or equivalent experience.
• Good knowledge in C/C++ programming in an embedded environment.
• Knowledge of Linux/RTOS system internals.

You Will Excite Us If You Have
