    Job Description :

    About the Role
    This position will be supporting our iHub service with the Business Data Services team.  iHub is an authorized provision point(APP) which standardizes common foundational data and distributes to downstream applications and reporting services.  iHub provisions datasets in support of the firms regulatory submissions(eONE), LIBOR Transition, Asset/Liability Management, Enterprise Customer Complaints, CDD, Credit Risk & Operating Committee Reporting, and many other important functions.   The iHub team provides data integration, data readiness, and data consultancy services.  It is a team of commercial lending data SME’s that work with the various lending systems to standardize data and support the data.   These positions will be primarily accountable for a number of systems of record and systems of origin ingested within iHub.  These positions will own aspects of these systems and entails managing projects and day to day BAU activities.  

    This offshore resource is an IC Role – the activity encompasses Quality Assurance which is an important front-line control activity to ensure key application deliverables are consistently and comprehensively completed, in alignment with iHub Policy requirements. The area of work is Commercial Distribution Finance space to materialize downstream consumer deliverables.

    • Develop and lead programs, initiatives for data quality, governance, and metadata activities
    • Design and conduct complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality or integrity issues and to identify and remediate process or control gaps
    • Analyze, assess, and test data controls and data systems to ensure quality, data governance and risk compliance standards are met
    • Identify data quality metrics and executes data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
    • Adhere to data governance standards and procedures
    • Develop recommendations for optimal approaches to resolve data quality issues
    • Develop and implement plans for assessing the quality of new data sources.
    • Analyze existing test case inventory to ensure test scripts are written according to recent governance standards.
    • Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members
    • Drive planning and coordination on low to medium sized remediation efforts, acting as central point of contact
    • Leverage domain expertise and data, business, or process analysis to inform and support solution design
    • Consult with clients to assess the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility
    • Participate in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies
    • Provide input into communication routines with stakeholders, business partners, and experienced leaders
    • Analyze data issues/root cause/business clarification e.g. mapping or data provider issues or data dependency issue.  Define what the issue is and provide onshore teams recommended course of action.

    Experience & Educational Qualifications:

    • 8+ years of experience in Regulatory/Risk/Commercial Lending /Financial data handling & reporting
    • 5+ years of experience in Financial Data Mapping & Modeling
    • Competent qualification in Finance – MBA(Finance)/CA
    • Competent qualification in Technology – B.Tech/B.E/ MCA

    Skills & Experience Desired:

    • Extensive knowledge and understanding/experience of data research and analysis
    • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to articulate complex business data concepts in a clear manner
    • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members            
    • Knowledge and understanding of data governance challenges and approaches: metadata, data quality, and data stewardship           
    • Ability to manipulate data from non-normalized or disparate data sources
    • Clear understanding of DWH principles, Dimensional Data and Data Models/Schemas
    • Self-organizing, Ownership & Accountability for Delivery

    Preferred:

    • Experience in Commercial Lending Systems or financial systems.
    • Experience in complex data set handling.
    • Knowledge & Implementation Experience in Oracle Financial Services Data Foundation (FSDF)

    Technical Expertise:

    • Expert in SQL – Oracle or Teradata
    • Knowledge of Big Data (Hadoop) Environment & experience in Hive/Spark
    • Experience in handling Metadata using Data Management Tool’s
    • Good Knowledge & Experience in JIRA or any Defect Management Tool
    • Good Knowledge & Experience in Agile Project Management Tools
    • MS Office suite
    • Exposure to Data Visualization Tool like Tableau/Power BI is a plus
