What you’ll achieve
As a Software Senior Engineer, you will be implementing test procedures and strategies, creating test plans and working with the broader team including core development and product management to ensure delivery of complete automated test coverage of Data Protection Integrated Appliance based on microservices, REST API and UI. We are looking for highly motivated, goal-oriented individuals who will be responsible for developing test automation that meets our business needs.

You will:

• Create test strategies, design test suites, including individual test cases
• Create and utilize local test environments for automation development
• Design, develop and maintain automated tests in support of product validation
• Prepare for and participate in Sprint planning meetings
• Collaboration with Core Developers, SRE’s, Product Owners & Project Managers ensuring on-time product delivery

Essential Requirements

• 5 to 8 of years of software automation test development experience along with an Engineering Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience with API and Web UI test automation using Automation Framework (Pytest/ Python, Selenium, Cypress or any other automation framework)
• Development Experience with Java Back-end (JavaScript, Java, Maven) or UI (Angular) would be added advantage
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum development methodology
• Must work well within a small development team, adapt to existing programming standards, and develop new code as well as maintain/enhance existing test automation

Desirable Requirements

Bachelor’s degree

Good to have knowledge of Storage system technology, System Management/System Administration, Virtualization, networking, Security
