Software Programmer

$3000 to $4500

5.5 work days, 8:30am to 5:30pm, Saturday half day

Job Scopes

• Analyze and understand requirements and user to identify required test scenarios, test cases and test data, ensure complete test coverage
• Able to analyze applications based on the current behavior of the application where documentation or feature requirements does not exist
• Execute quality assurance test scenarios/test cases. Ensure developed functionality satisfies the requirements and aligns with business specifications
• Find issues through systematic and/or adhoc testing, troubleshooting. Provide detailed defect reports and effectively communicate status of issues and its risks in a precise and timely manner
• Teamwork to enhance product and fix all reported issues
• Understand problems from customer’s perspective and able recommend improvements to enhance user experience
• Ensure the quality of the product under test to prevent issues from reaching customers, and make an effort to improve the quality and efficiency of testing through process enhancement
• Thorough understanding of the defect life-cycle process and industry standard defect tracking tools
• Able to work independently on projects
• Actively participate in daily stand-ups and retrospective meeting
• Ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by immediate supervisor

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle Process (SDLC) and QA methodology
• Knowledge and experience in analyzing Software Requirement Specification and identifying the required test scenarios
• 1 to 2 years’ experience on software testing will be an advantage.
• Experience work with auto test framework – Selenium, Knowledge of Programming scripting language such as C Sharp, ASP.net, Java, HTML, SQL, etc.
