Job Description :

We are cur rently recruiting for Software Engineers to join our existing Technical Team based in Kuala Lumpur. You will be actively encouraged to push the b oundaries of new technology to ensure that we choose the most appropriate solutions for delivering our software to enable you to progress to meet your own potential.

Duties & Responsibilities
 

• Working within an Agile Development Team, Scrum framework
• Implementing new features across the Ideagen Products using .NET technologies
• Working closely with Development Manager, Team Leaders, Principal Developers and Senior Software Engineers to build well architected Cloud hosted solutions.
• Working collaboratively with Product Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Design Engineers, Test Engineers to ensure features are delivered to a high standard.
• Working across the Software Development Lifecycle ensuring that our products are delivered to a published roadmap within planned release cycles.
• Contributing towards defining and developing a Sprint backlog to achieve the goals set out by our Product team.
• Collaborating with Product Design Team to create an optimal user experience.
• Diagnose and fix existing software defects.
• Providing unit tests to support and validate for any development work undertaken.
• Contributing to the Development Team’s working practices and technology decisions.
• Creating necessary documentation relating to work produced.

Knowledge & Experience
 

• At least 3 years of experience developing enterprise solution using ASP.NET MVC, Web API, C# and JavaScript.
• Basic experience in AWS (EC2, S3, CloudWatch).
• Basic database knowledge inMySQL, MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Basic experience in .NET Framework, .NET Core and/or .NET.
• Basic experience with build process, continuous integration and delivery (TeamCity).
• Basic knowledge in using Docker.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills in English.
• Experience using Source Control, preferably Git.
• Experience writing unit tests.
• Basic understanding of UX / Design.

Desirable Skill
 

• Advanced knowledge in AWS (SDK, CloudFormation, SQS, SNS, Lambda, Cognito,SimpleDB, DynamoDB, ECS).
• Advanced knowledge in MongoDB.
• Understands concepts of CQRS, Event Sourcing.
• Basic knowledge in Node.js .
• Basic knowledge in using Linux.
• Basic experience in Angular 6.
• Basic experience in SignalR.
• Basic experience in Redis.
• Basic experience in Swagger.
• Ability to understand and maintain scripts written in PowerShell / gulpfiles.
