Job Description :

• Software developer must have experience with C++ or Java and Python (preferred) experience
• Will be working on an agile team integrating, modifying, and/or debugging various model components of our Aegis Combat System model written in C++
• Looking for support on some automation efforts supporting continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Development (CD) of the Aegis combat system model
• The scripts developed for the automation are mostly written in Python
• They are performing signal processing work on a product called the multi-mission signal processor, which is part of the AEGIS BMD
• Engineer will be responsible for development, investigating, debugging, researching, and finding solutions
• The engineer will leverage software engineering processes and procedures while performing their respective software engineering and verification activities
• In this important role the software engineer will collaborate with other engineering disciplines and program personnel and will participate in cross functional six sigma style product or process improvement meetings
• Backlog of issues and changes that need to be investigated/addressed
• Software support on test findings, as they continuously do integration and test
• Qualifications:*
• Degree in the Engineering field
• Strong C++ or Java skills
• Experience working with Linux
• Strong Object Oriented Programming (C++) or Java
• Additional experience within Python, Git, Eclipse, Jenkins, MATLAB and Agile is a plus
• Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one
