Job Description :

Selected candidates will get the opportunity to work as Software Engineer on the design and production of our Next Generation subsea robotics products.

We are transitioning from our industry standard, human operated, hydraulic underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) towards a highly autonomous ROV supervised from one of our remote operating centres.

Reporting to the Software Team Lead.

Job Responsibilities

• Work in a team of experienced engineers on the software development for ROV control system.
• Work closely together with oversees R&D centres, internal production teams and global operational teams, including taking over of developed software from Innovation Team for integration and testing in ROV products.
• Software maintenance and front end support of rolled out ROV control software
• Continuous Improvement of existing ROV control software
• Engage in technical design discussions and help drive technical architecture.
• Support prototype evaluation / test sessions with the Innovation Centres
   

Job Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Software Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
• Good working knowledge of C/C++14 /C# programming
• Good working knowledge of ROS2, Qt, Linux, cross-platform software development.
• Internally motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders
• Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes
• Fluent in English speaking and writing
• Candidate with major in robotics, automation or autonomous systems would be an advantage.
