Job Description :

About the role:

As a software engineer on our team, you’ll be working closely with our founders and lead engineer (also a founder) to enhance the Yellowbox offering. Your day-to-day will include:

• Developing amazing user experiences, features and systems to expand and improve our product offering.
• Writing components and modelling data for new features.
• Implementing cloud functions for backend jobs triggered by changes to database documents, schedules, API calls from applications.
• Setting up IoT hardware for new client installations.
• Monitoring error reports and performing optimisations.
• Producing reports and demos of your new features ready to show our clients and distributors.

You’ll be a great fit if you:

• Have 2+ years experience in software development working primarily in JavaScript/Typescript/Vue.
• Are adaptable, resilient and curious, with the ability to take autonomy into your work.
• Are a critical-thinker, problem-solver and troubleshooter with strong communication skills.
• Are willing to learn about developing mobile applications and IoT software.

Our Tech Stack:

• Front-end: TypeScript/JavaScript/Vue.
• Back-end: TypeScript/JavaScript, NoSQL.
• Supporting systems: Node.js.
• Platforms: Google Cloud - Firebase - Cloud Functions, Firestore etc.
