About The Role

In this key role, you will provide expert technical and domain expertise to your squad, covering all aspects of Application design build and integration. You will need to remain continually aware of business, infrastructure, and technical issues to aid in the development and implementation of innovative solutions and anticipate future direction in the tech industry and relate that to current or upcoming requirements.

 About You

• Java (minimum 5 years).
• React, Angular or similar JavaScript based framework, Typescript.
• Micronaut or Spring & Spring Boot.
• Micro-services and Restful API development experience.
• Unit and API testing frameworks e.g. Junit5, Mockito, WireMock, Jest, Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber.
• Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker.
• AWS, Kafka (preferred additional skills).

• Ability to communicate both with peers and with stakeholders from different areas across the business.
• Deep understanding of the full software stack including UX/UI, service layer and networking.
• Proven experience integrating diverse systems into a consolidated customer focused experience.
• Strong experience in continuous deployment, continuous integration and automation toolsets and concepts.
• Ability to participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members on code quality.
• Tertiary level qualifications in Computer Science, Business, or an associated discipline (preferred).
• Banking experience (a bonus).
