Xendit is currently growing rapidly to build payment infrastructure in Southeast Asia. With more people joining Xendit, manual operations that involve people are hard to scale. To address these scaling challenges, HR Ops team is created to help Xendit by solving the people processes and operations through automation and common software solution so that it’s more effective and efficient.
Mission:
Optimize people and HR processes through automation and software solutions.
Responsibilities:
Produce reliable software to make people and HR processes more effective and efficient
Debug and fix inevitable problems / bugs in building software
Discuss and brainstorm with stakeholders to make people processes more effective and efficient
Do whatever it takes to make Xendit succeed
You may be a good fit if:
At least one year of experience in software development
Experience in building automation using 3rd party API
Have a portfolio of work using Node.Js and/or Go
Outcomes:
Skilled in well known tools and shares expertise with others
Executes independently with little guidance or guides a small group of peers
Makes judgements on how to apply skills, knowledge, and tools to well defined problems and clarifying when necessary
Handles problems with well known solutions with guidance

Experience
A fresh graduate in computer science or a field that requires writing software to achieve its goals or have about at least 1-year of experiences as a software engineer

Able to communicate in English
Have written code that is regularly used by yourself or others
Have heard about clean code and able to write clean code
Able to write code using Node.Js and Typescript
Able to write code using Go or willing to learn Go
Familiar with REST API concepts
Familiar with SQL Databases, like PostgreSQL
Familiar with messaging system technologies like Kafka, or willing to learn Kafka
Can describe DevOps technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
