Job Description :

The Role: New Zealand (remote)

As part of a cross-functional agile team you will deliver high quality, innovative trading and market data software solutions to our clients, providing value to their business.

You will be involved in creating, building and deploying new features and experiences on our highly scalable and customisable market data interface that provides real time market data.

What you will be doing:

• Innovate, design and develop solutions on a Market data software application used by the majority of Australian professionals.
• Perform software engineering tasks to ensure the highest levels of product quality are met
• Coach, mentor and uplift junior engineers technical skills via pairing , feedback and other avenues.
• Assist in identifying product and process weaknesses and possible refinements in an environment of continual evolution and improvement.
• Keep up to date with technical trends, tools and methodologies, undertake research as required

What you will need:

• An ability to work with others to reach a common solution
• Love for sharing knowledge and helping others
• Solid experience in innovative R&D development environments
• Demonstrable strong design, development and collaboration skills gained in developing software product solutions
• Experience working in Agile process and result-oriented culture
• C++
• SQL

Preferred but not essential

• Development or scripting skills (Python)
• Cloud - AWS
