What my client is looking for:

• We are looking for a world-class software engineer to join our engineering team. Our mission is to drive stability, scalability and efficiency for the B2C platform with our growing number of users. We build critical systems that will scale with millions of prospective users.
• By joining this team as a backend engineer, you will be involved in architectural decisions as well as own and build the platform through implementation and maintenance. Be involved in architectural decisions with the product team in creating a technical vision and roadmap.

Main responsibilities:

• Build robust and scalable software with programming languages such as Java, python, golang etc.
• Design and create services and system architecture for your projects, and contribute and provide feedback to other team members
• Help improve our code quality through writing unit tests, automation and performing code reviews
• Help choose tech stack and build the critical back end architecture

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduated from computer science or proven worked as a mid-level software engineer.
• Experience designing interactive applications
• Ability to develop software in Java, Python, C++ or other modern languages like Golang, Ruby on rails etc
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
• Experience developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)

Good to have (not required):

• Experience developing CI/CD pipeline uses Jenkins, Docker under containers technology like Kubernetes, AWS or GCP.
• Experience on Microservice；
• Experience with messaging queues (preferably Kafka)
• Experience with designing API's to support bulk requests;
