    Job Description :

oftware Engineer (Computer Vision & Machine Learning)

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company at its very early stages. Let’s build the future of computer vision, machine learning and A.I. technology applications together.

    Our company

Covision Lab is a computer vision and machine learning focused research and application center as well as company builder. It was founded in 2019 by seven market leading multinational companies. We translate state-of-the-art research into technology by harnessing computer vision, sensor fusion and machine learning.

Our aim is to accelerate technology adoption in traditional industries, by also launching startup companies. Examples: covisionquality.com (automating industrial visual inspection with unsupervised machine learning software) and covisionmedialab.com (automating 3D digital twin creation for e-commerce and metaverse applications).

Our startup companies are among the leading startups in their fields, continuously recognized by customers, expert media and awards. Covision Quality works with customers such as GKN Powder Metals and Aluflexpack Group. Furthermore the company has officially partnered with NVIDIA, won the 2022 Automate Startup Award in Detroit and was among the best startups at Alchemist Accelerator in San Francisco. Covision Media is part of the NVIDIA Inception program and ranks companies like GORE-Tex, GEOX, La Sportiva, Salewa among its customers. The goal of both companies it to disrupt traditional industries and processes.

We furthermore team up with university researchers to push the state-of-the-art in research. The research practice is lead by Prof. Oswald Lanz at the Free University of Bolzano-Bozen. He and his team are continuously publishing at conferences like CVPR and ECCV.
