The Opportunity

Boeing Phantom Works Global is seeking a candidate for the role of Software Engineer to join an exciting project that will support the development of our autonomous capability - with opportunities to be gain exposure to projects in the wider Phantom Works and Boeing teams.

Responsibilities
 

• Experience or interest in developing software for Autonomous platforms and frameworks
• Good working knowledge of modern software architecture and open architecture frameworks.
• Experience designing software systems using object-oriented software engineering
• Understanding of user interface design and implementation
• Experience in software requirements analysis, functional analysis, software design & development, and software integration & test
• Ability to adapt quickly to change, support the development of technical plans, documents and able to provide high level contribution to the software team
   

Experience/Qualifications
 

• A tertiary qualification in an engineering related field
• Working knowledge of modern C++ principles and practice and C++ frameworks (desirable)
• Knowledge or interest in modelling & simulation, and autonomous platforms
• The ability to communicate and collaborate within a diverse team, in a conscientious and inclusive way
