Job Description

Main activities and areas of responsibility

The figure of Software Developer will be part of the Research and Development (R&D) team based in Modena and after a period of support and internal training:

will know the architecture and code of the Movicon.NExt software platform

develop software using the latest technologies to extend the Movicon.NExT platform

will manage the requests and functionality requirements of the customers' profile, to transform them into working codes

will operate in a team environment, essentially dynamic, agile and fast in order to introduce new high-quality software products to the market in the most effective and efficient manirà possible

develop and test the product on multiple browsers, platforms and devices, including smartphones and tablets

ask for feedback on the performance of the product from the engineering team, projects and customer support, as well as from the customer himself in order to ensure that the software is well received and provides value to end customers

will have knowledge and skills related to HTML5, SVG, WPF, XAML, .Net, VB.Net, Java Script, connectivity protocols, cloud and database, reporting tools and graphic development.

Desired requirements

Strong aptitude to innovate with the speed of a small company while being fully supported by the strength of one of the largest industrial companies in business today

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Automation, or similar qualification. Equivalent work experience is also considered.

PC knowledge and skills (Windows and Linux).

Knowledge of web and mobile UX/UI technologies and architectures.

Experience in developing front-end client applications using the latest techniques such as Angular.js/JavaScript/HTML5/CSS3 front-end code on web and mobile projects.

Experience or exposure to Microsoft.Net with C# and WPF

Ability to collaborate and ability to work in a team environment

Reactive design techniques, front-end design patterns such as MVVM

Curiosity and motivation to research and learn new technologies applicable to the objectives of the Automation.NExT software platform

Ability to extrapolate sophisticated design systems and apply them to coded pages, screens and states.

Knowledge of precompiled CSS systems such as SASS to compile style sheets

Knowledge of package management systems such as bower and npm

Knowledge of multithreading concepts, LINQ

Experience with ASP.NET cores, APIs, JSON, Microsoft SQL Server 2012+ / T-SQL and stored procedures, HMI/SCADA systems

Good communication skills.
