Job Description :

At Midas Analytics, we are currently looking for a talented Software Developer.

The candidate should have genuine passion in data and AI, who is willing to equip himself with a good and solid understanding of data-related operations/pipeline.

For this position, we are looking for a motivated endless fighter capable of executing tasks with no major supervision. The candidate should be always equipped with an innate 'can do' attitude.

The ideal candidate should not only possess programming skills, but also require organization and conceptualization skills along with a strong detail-orientation.

The candidate must be able to easily engage in abstract thinking and logical reasoning and have the ability to self-evaluate and adapt efficiently. He/she should also be able to delegate tasks to other members of the data team so that they can focus on their area of expertise.

In addition to these general personality traits and skills, the ideal candidate should master (or be willing to develop) some of the following skills:

• Strategic system architecture plans
• Solid understanding of information processing fundamentals and best practices
• Analytical, conceptual and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks when under extreme pressure
• Experience providing guidance and leadership to interns
• Ability to identify, analyze and resolve system problems
• Keen to be a problem solver and a learner with agile development-related tools
• Excellent time management

What skillset are we looking for?

• Basic Front End and/or Back End Knowledge
• Willingness to master full-stack development
• Mastery in JS and/or React
• Willingness to master development and deployment cycle (git, CI/CD, kubernetes and/or docker) in AWS
• Solid understanding of IT fundamentals and best practices
• Basic knowledge in Linux basic usage and OS command
• SQL/NoSQL DB Querying is a plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
