We are an energetic software house in Penang. We are looking for a passionate Software Developer to work on our customer projects. As a Senior Software Developer at our company, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development. We are involved in government sector, manufacturing and engineering industrial automation, and smart city digitalization. As a young and innovative company, we are also constantly carrying out research on new technologies like AI and visualization. Our aim is to develop functional and appealing web-based applications based on usability.

• Participate in all phases of software development life cycle including requirement study, design, development, testing and deployment.
• Develop system using Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 or higher, etc.
• Meet customers to get the requirements and study the requirements.
• Enhance the system based on the customer's needs.
• Assist support team on the technical problem.
• Software testing.
• Deployment of the software.
• Provide training, documentation and technical advice to Customer Service and On-site Support team.
• Fix system bug as and when required.
• Any other additional duties, responsibilities and authority may be assigned by the management, from time to time in its sole discretion, either verbally or in written instruction.
• 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in design and build large scale .NET application in any stack.
• Experience with C#, Entity Framework and architectural design patterns.
• Strong work experience in .NET MVC framework.
• Experience with IIS configuration and architecture best practices.
• Experience in working with web page design (e.g., HTML, Active Server Pages (ASP)), firewalls, intranets, domain name services (DNS), Active Directory (AD), servers, and related hardware and software required to administer a website.
• Familiarity with Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), File Transfer Protocol is a plus.
• Having good analytical skills and able to participate in requirement gathering and translate business requirements into scalable and resilient design.
• Familiarity with API Service Implementation and end points consumption.
• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Integrate data storage solutions {{may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.}}.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developers with server side logic.
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implementation of security and data protection.
• Design and implementation of data storage solutions.
• An attitude of ethically challenging the current solutions in a bid to set up new and advanced solutions.
• Assist in any ad-hoc tasks as assigned and when required.
