We want our new team members to feel they are a key part of RPS’s journey and you will be working in close collaboration with team members across the globe.

This is a full-time permanent position that will be based from our Kuala Lumpur office.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting the sizing of backlog items
• Translating user stories into effective and efficient running code, ensuring acceptance criteria are met
• Testing and Deploying cloud applications using continuous integration, code quality checks and distribution pipelines
• Ensuring non-functional requirements including security considerations are met in the development of the solutions
• Communicating work progress and all work-related pertinent information in an accurate and timely manner to the Development Leads
• Participating in initiatives that contribute to performance effectiveness and efficiencies
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Who We’re Looking For

You will enjoy working collaboratively with a globally dispersed team to achieve performance targets. You’ll be experienced in using Agile methodologies and be comfortable working to deadlines. We expect you will have a Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Software Engineering

Your career experience to date will have given you a good range of skills in the following Development areas:

• At least 3 years of working experience in a commercial software development environment.
• Extensive knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Frameworks
• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services
• Development Experience with Microsoft Azure (Azure B2C, Azure Blob, Azure functions)
• Azure SQL Server Database Development (including T-SQL skills) and/or No SQL (Cosmos)
• Use of CI/CD methodologies and implementation
• Experience in Test Driven Development and recognised testing tools.
• Source control using Azure DevOps and/or GIT
• Ability the use of continuous integration and distribution pipelines to deploy applications
• Ability to implement secure coding for fulfil essential security measures
• Excellent experience with the following areas:
  • Working collaboratively with a globally dispersed team members to achieve performance targets
  • Use of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
  • The use and management of development teams using Microsoft Azure DevOps
  • A commitment to keep up to date with developments in technology The ability to work to deadlines
• Agile certification desirable
