For the development of a next generation of premium vehicles, we are looking for Junior C++ Developers . Join our team of enthusiastic and experienced Software Engineers in Luxoft and develop software for an entire functional area of a car, working on vital in-car applications utilized in future vehicles of a renowned automotive manufacturers worldwide.

Develop features that will be used daily by millions of drivers once the next generation of vehicles hit the roads, focusing on one of the following areas:

- HMI & UX

- Body Control & Comfort functions

- Connected Vehicle & Cloud Solutions

- ADAS / Autonomous Driving

- Simulation & virtual ECU

- Sensor Calibration & Sensor Data Validation

Responsibilities

- You develop and integrate new features in C/C++

- You contribute to the software architecture and clarify requirements

in cooperation with the client and the team

- You perform code analysis, refactoring and optimize legacy code

- You utilize common design patterns as well as the advantages of object

oriented programming

- You develop robust and effective code and ensure high quality by performing unit tests, simulation on real data

(software in the loop) as well as simulation of the software on the

target hardware (hardware in the loop)

- You will participate in community / chapter activities outside of your project (e.g. C++ or Driving Functions Chapter)

Skills

Must have

- Academic degree in computer science, electrical engineering, telecommunication engineering or similar qualification

- C++ background, as well as an understanding of object-oriented programming

- Initial experience in at least one Scripting language (Python, lua)

- Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including testing, code coverage, and code quality

- Open to learn new tech and adjust to new ways of working

- Good communication skills in English (writing & speaking) along with team spirit

- Self-organized and diligent

- Enthusiasm for automotive

Nice to have

- Practical experience with bus systems and protocols used in electronics & automotive (CAN, Ethernet, Flexray), ideally experience in trace/signal analysis (Wireshark, Carmen)

- Strong embedded background and software debugging skills, understanding of low-level limitations and performance optimization

- Experience with various IDEs, compilers and development environments (CI/CD, unit tests, repos)

- Experience in driver or kernel development under Linux or QNX, also in open-source projects

- Experience in Autosar Classic or Adaptive Autosar

- Italian language
