About The Company

This client is an US MNC focusing on developing IOT solutions for their customers .

About The Job

You will develop test features within our applications in cooperation with other team members. Contribute to the overall quality of the organization in the testing of all applications and ensuring high performance on a variety of platforms. You will also be creating automated and manual tests for a variety of different software systems. Take ownership of a major software component on multiple platforms.

About The Manager/team

You will be working a team of 5 and report to the R&D Manager

Skills And Experience Required

You will need mini bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent.

• Around 7 years' experience testing a variety of software including Web Applications as well as applications in an embedded Linux software.
• Basic understanding of networking protocols and concepts.
• Experience with various testing methodologies (functional testing, system testing, integration testing, performance testing).
• Experience with creating and maintaining automated tests for both Web Applications as well as applications in an embedded Linux software.
• Capable of describing and documenting overall test strategy.
• Suggesting and implementing improvements to the group’s testing methodology.
• Analyze, design and support the development of tools to make the testing effort more efficient.
• Help identify test case gaps and create the appropriate automated or manual test scripts.
• Contribute to and help maintain the testing framework for various types of testing (functional, load/performance, security) on multiple platforms (web, Linux, embedded Linux, and emerging platforms).
