About the Role
We are looking for Senior Systems Operations Engineer role having more than 8+ years of experience who will be responsible to provide production operations support and should have good knowledge on SQL,PL/SQL,Unix Support, application/web servers like Apache, Unix /windows server support, scripting (shell/Perl/python) and be able to automate manual tasks with Site Reliability Engineering Capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Candidate must have 8+ years of relevant experience in production supporting environment managing applications with (SQL, PL/SQL, Application/Web servers, Apache, Unix, Windows and scripting experience (Shell/Python))environment.
• Lead and participate in on-call rotation for production support.
• Responsible for disaster recovery, replication and troubleshooting
• SRE mindset to improve service efficiency and reduce TOIL
• Should envisage future product usage and drive automations to make product usage easy for platform teams.
• Flexible to work in shifts (No Night Shift).
• Should be able to handle Release /Deployment activities independently using Udeploy and relevant tools.
• Experience in handling the process changes and support the tickets
• Excellent communication skills to connect with the process owners and users in resolving issues
• Good exposure on Supporting tools like JIRA and Service Now
• Good exposure on debugging skills, Knowledge on SQL, Pl/SQL and UNIX also shell scripting
• Analyze and Trouble the log and identify issue , using Splunk. And Autosys
• Knowledge on Change management , Incident Management.
• Knowledge on Cloud technologies (Azure / Google cloud)
• Troubleshooting server related issue involving middleware, OS and Database
• Knowledge and understanding of SRE principles and Agile Methodology.
• Should be able to conduct blameless post mortems, root cause analysis, introduce continuous improvement and solving problems.

Essential Qualification: We are hiring a Senior Systems Operations Engineer to be part of TI – ITSOat Wells Fargo Technology.
8+ years of experience in handling large production support environments with relevant experience
Proven Technical Expertise with Production Support and software development desired
Technical expertise in: SQL,PL/SQL ,UNIX, Shell Scripting, Autosys, Splunk, Udeploy, Apache server, SharePoint online ,JIRA, Service Now.
OS and Platform -Linux, Azure, Windows, VMware
Candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong judgment, and ability to work effectively with other partner groups in Information Technology, including vendor resources

Desired Qualification
Any Bachelor Degree.

Experience working with global teams, Experience in Banking domain preferred.
