    We are currently expanding our team in Singapore and are looking for a passionate, self-motivated, and hungry-to-learn individual, who is also excited to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Take ownership on the development and implementation of modules related to digital twin performance evaluation, its calibration, and process optimization.

    • Develop interfaces between various digital twin software and Aleph’s platform for executing and querying digital twins using real-time data.

    • Manage the database schemas and structures and build new schemas when needed.

    • Build clean and high-performance code that can be easily integrated within the existing architecture.

    • Work closely with the front-end development team to integrate the new functionalities within the Web-App and support them in understanding dependences and workflows.

    • Support commercial project delivery team by assisting in troubleshooting and algorithm tuning as needed.

    • Document the development and implementation activities to facilitate knowledge-transfer.

     

    Essential Skills:

    • Well-versed with Python and associated libraries (e.g. pandas, numpy, sk-learn, sk-opt, win32, etc.). Expertise in object-oriented programming approach for developing new modules.

    • Expertise in working with COM and developing APIs to third party software.

    • Expertise in building and executing ML models for the purposes of data cleaning, analytics, and predictions.

    • Knowledge of formulating generic optimization models and ability to solve them using open-source or custom libraries.

    • Experience of handling large data sets (time-series, numerical, categorical, etc.) from different sources.

    • Fluent in using Git for managing codebases and performing version control.

    • Experience in Web-App development would be advantageous, especially ReactJS, Django/Flask, etc.

    • Hands-on experience in mathematical modelling and optimization (in any sector) is a plus.

     

    Education and Work Experience:

    • Advanced engineering degree (Masters or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Operations Research, Electrical Engineering, etc.). Extra-ordinary fresh graduates can also apply.

    • 1-3 years of experience working in the industrial software/automation companies.

    • Ability to work collaboratively with team members such as algorithm formulation, workflow development, code review, and solution testing.

    • Great communication and writing skills. Fluency in English is compulsory. Fluency in additional languages would be a plus.
