    Job Description :

    What will You be doing?

    • Utilize technical skills in Salesforce Marketing Cloud to develop and deliver email, PUSH, SMS, cloud pages, and site marketing strategies for lifecycle, transactional/triggered, and ad-hoc promotional campaigns to drive ridership, revenue and customer satisfaction.
    • Design and build solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, that require creating data models, using data extensions, Contact Builder, Marketing Cloud Connect, automations, queries, custom journey builder activity development and complex journeys.
    • Execute various SQL queries of databases to implement and optimize campaign targeting, segmentation and personalization strategies
    • Collaborate with Sr. Advisor Email Marketing & Consumer Engagement as well as brand and digital marketing teams and other stakeholders to deliver campaigns and digital experiences to increase ridership, revenue and customer satisfaction.
    • Research and prepare Marketing Cloud Infrastructure materials to support strategic planning, program management, project management, product management and other activities.
    • Participate in the development of Marketing Cloud Infrastructure roadmaps and requirements prioritization for digital marketing campaigns.
    • Contribute to and champions the establishment of standards, processes, procedures, policies, guidelines, best practices for Salesforce Marketing Cloud Infrastructure and campaigns enabled by this cloud.
    • Create and document the Marketing Cloud Infrastructure architectures and detailed designs to ensure they provide the desired consumer experience to drive revenue, ridership and customer satisfaction.
    • Proactively monitor, review and address Marketing Cloud Infrastructure concerns in production for performance, capacity, availability, security, issues, risks, other service level aspects and KPIs.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated Marketing Cloud Campaign technical issues.
    • Provide technical expertise in cross departmental teams tasked with process improvement and efficiency projects
    • Provides cost benefit analysis to business cases
       

    What skills & qualifications do I need?

    • Completion of a degree in web development, Information technology, marketing, ecommerce, business management, computer science or other related fields.
    • Minimum six (6) years’ related experience contributing to the success of midsize-to-large initiatives with above average levels of complexity and business criticality.
    • Certification in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ie. Marketing Cloud Developer and/or Marketing Cloud Consultant) is required
    • Advanced SQL Queries and joins
    • HTML Coding for email
    • Knowledge of API Integrations
    • Various Development languages
    • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements relating to digital communications, including privacy legislation and Canada Anti-spam Legislation (CASL)
    • Experience using Litmus and Movable Ink.
    • Proven experience developing software following secure development practices
    • Experience with structured/unstructured data systems – MS SQL, Oracle SQL,
    • Experience creating technical design, implementation, administration and operations documentation
    • Experience collaborating with and leading teams working in Lean-Agile delivery methods.
