Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop/Enhance the Test Automation Framework and Automation Test Scripts on different Technology Applications: Web/Oracle/Java/Web services/Pega/Main frames
• Participate in peer review of the test scripts.
• Propose Automation Process
• Propose solutions in terms of Automation Framework for various technologies
• Identify and define Automation solution to address specific application requirements
• Responsible for taking decisions in terms of key solutions for complex business functionality
• Specialization in multiple tools: Selenium, Web service automation , SOAP UI, Moble automation and Excel macros with primary Focus on Selenium, Core java and Web service automation and Test automation framework development
• Propose Best practices and share it across Team
• Define Automation metrics based on project need

Required Qualifications:

• Btech/BE degree with a preferred focus in Computer Science
• Minimum 7 to 9 years of experience as a Quality Assurance tester with focus on automation
• Experience in handling the Automation Delivery for multiple parallel projects
• Strong programming background (Core java, Groovy or VC++) with hands on experience with test automation tool such as Selenium
• Experience of using HP QC/ ALM, SOAP UI, Rally tools or similar functional testing tools
• Experience developing and executing automated test scripts for requirement validation, integration, regression, performance and usability testing
• Experience in creating SQL scripts
• Experience with change management and defect tracking tools
• Ability to lead testing activities and recommend process improvement opportunities
• Readiness to learn and implement new processes and Tools
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to manage business relationships
