We are looking for a Technical Lead/Lead Software Engineer with strong development skills, analytics, large scale development/deployment experience.

The role of the Technical Lead/Lead Software Engineer is to own the technical design, engineering practice of the local engineering team, as well as collaborate and communicate with the global architecture and engineering authority. The Technical Lead/Architect also manage engineering environment, leading technical practices/documentation throughout the product development life cycle.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Accountability for KL Engineering Team
• Owns designs, guide the team in implementing designs
• Conduit with Global Architecture and Engineering Authority
• Allowing delegation from Architecture and Engineering Authority to empower KL teams.
• Lead Technical documentation for awareness / auditing / lifecycle management etc
• Lead and implement effective engineering practices
• Environment Management (Day to Day Dev / Test)
• Own the implementation of agreed processes. Ensuring they are followed etc.
• Cross Squad / Team / Initiative awareness and co-ordination
• Local SME for the Product / Project / Component
• Driving and own the Continuous Improvements proactively
• Accountable for building the right thing and building it right
• Demonstrates an understanding of the importance of schedule and will endeavor to estimate accurately and deliver according to those estimates
• Continually improve personal understanding of the programming languages, frameworks, technical concepts, methods and measurements that underpin the Engineering disciplines and practices of SilverSky.
• Demonstrates the ability to reflect on and improve personal performance

Required Skills:

• Preferably fluent in various programming languages, such as Python, C/C++, Java, SQL, PHP (including frameworks like Laravel and Symfony), and JavaScript (including framewords like React and Angular)
• Good exposure of every level of SDLC including requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and support
• Able to work independently, drive technical decision and propose viable technical solutions
• Good communication skills and team player
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
• Experience in a big/complex projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/IT/Computer Science
• 10+ years Software Development experience
• Preferably fluent in various programming languages, such as Python, C/C++, Java, SQL, PHP (including frameworks like Laravel and Symfony), and JavaScript (including framewords like React and Angular)
