In this role, you will:

• Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
• Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
• Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
• Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
• Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
• Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education
• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 10-15 yrs. of hands-on IT experience in defining, developing and implementing complex applications using latest BI, ETL & Database technologies and worked in Agile teams.
• Should have work experience in Microsoft tools like Power BI and SSIS/SSAS.
• Design and develop Power BI user interface objects (e.g. reports, dashboards, etc.).
• Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of complex business problems.
• Expert in designing complex reports like reports using Cascading parameters, Drill-Through Reports, Parameterized Reports and Report Models and ad-hoc reports
• Extensive experience in Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) data from various sources like Oracle, SQL Server and Flat File into Data warehouse using SSIS.
• Proficient in using various control flow and data flow elements like Each Loop and Sequence Container, Execute SQL Task, Execute Process Task, Execute Package Task, File System Task, Derived column, Condition split, Multi-cast, Merge, etc.
• Exposure to ETL migration projects like from DataStage to Microsoft SSIS/Informatica.
• Production support and monitoring experience. Maintaining/monitoring batch jobs.
• Should be able to deploy the application in non-production environments on Windows/Linux platforms.
