Job Overview

As a Developer Advocate you will sit at the intersection of marketing, product and technology . You are expected to be the first line of outreach and engagement towards the developer community.

You will interface with various members of the development team as well as the company’s business and marketing teams to achieve cross-functional multi-channel developer community management and education.

You should be knowledgeable and able to answer questions with regards to blockchain based technologies, dapp architecture, blockchain integration tools, related libraries and smart contract components. You should be able to prioritize and manage technical queries by sourcing various internal stakeholders and existing resources to provide answers. You should be able to create technical documentation and technical based content at a high level.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Building demos, sample apps, tutorials and continuously improving the developer experience of our products.
• Defining what educational content should be produced and how it should be organized; such as Klaytn technical documentation, knowledge base, and others.
• Work closely with the marketing team to create workshops, courses, hackathons and online events.
• Help coordinate the internal team of technical writers and content producers with regards to creating, updating, illustrating, and promoting developer focused content.
• Providing feedback to the internal team of developers by gathering insights from the developer community.
• Managing and organizing developer facing communications channels: Gitter, Discord, bounty program channels, and Klaytn technical forums.

Qualification

• Education level - Bachelor Degree (Computer Science, Software Engineering preferred)
• Development experience - 2+ years of proven hands-on full-stack development experience, open source project participation and development, experience with Solidity smart contract and Dapp development
• Development tools experience - Github, Confluence/Jira, Mocha/Chai
• Advocacy Skills - understanding of the developer journey and experience, excellent verbal communication skills, great technical writing skills, ability to make complicated subjects easy to understand, ability to communicate and present effectively to a variety of audiences
• Personal characteristics - strong work ethic, team oriented, organized, self-directed

Preferred Qualification

• Deep experience and knowledge of Blockchain (specifically Klaytn/Ethereum)
• Passionate about bringing the blockchain vision of a decentralized web to the world
• Curious and active learner for new technologies
