Responsibilities

• Build robust and scalable software in Java and JavaScript.
• Design and create services and system architecture for your projects.
• Develop new user-facing features.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Contribute and provide feedback to other team members.
• Help improve our code quality through writing unit tests, automation and performing code reviews.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to our technology, algorithms, and products.
• Work with the product team to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution.
• Solve difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related fields with software development skills.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and programming languages.
• Strong knowledge in object-oriented programming, analysis, and design.
• Good understanding of software development processes, methodologies, and architectures.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Java.
• Understanding of relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or non-relational database (MongoDB) management systems.
• Experience in Microservices or REST architecture.
• Experience in Spring/Spring Boot.
• Experience with JavaScript and React.js. and/or Vue.js
• Experience in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Experience with Python is a plus.
• Experience with ELK stack is a plus.
• Experience with Message Queues and/or Kafka is a plus
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Knowledge on agile principles and methodologies is a plus.
• Good command of English.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Good interpersonal communication skills
