Job Description :

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop data services and pipelines to capture, cleanse, transform and route data to destination systems to enable the organization to collect data points from customers and process the results in near real-time
• Participate in process definition and implementation for software development, testing, releases, and version control. Additionally, be actively involved in design, grooming & requirement discussion sessions.
• Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increase data accessibility, and foster data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Work with other products and teams in the Cvent suite to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements, including architecture and design specifications.
• Prepare technical design documents for major modules of applications. Identify design concerns, proposes/compares technical approaches, reviews code, and test & implements solutions.
• Provide on-call operational support.
• Onboard Cvent products on the data lake and data retention frameworks.
• Gain experience with different database technologies, ranging from traditional relational to the latest NoSQL products such as Couchbase, AWS DynamoDB.

Primary Skills:

• Bachelors degree (or higher) in Computer Science OR related technical discipline
• 6 to 8 years of hands-on programming experience with Java including Object Oriented Design
• Experience with RESTful Web Services and API development using Dropwizard or any other Java framework
• Strong knowledge and experience with one or more relational and non-relational database systems such as Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Couchbase and DynamoDB
• 2+ years of professional experience developing application with AWS services like IAM, S3, Cloud Formation, Athena and AWS Glue.
• Experience working with Queuing/streaming technologies such as Kinesis/RabbitMQ/Kafka
• Experience in contributing to the architecture and design (Design Patterns, Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) including Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Security)
• 2+ years of experience in team handling and project management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work in a fast paced, agile environment and result oriented culture
• Strong troubleshooting skills

Preferred Skills:

-Experience with AWS Services like Kinesis, EMR, CDK, Lake Formation, Redshift, Lambda would make a candidate stand out.

-Experience developing solutions around GDPR and organization data lake would be a plus.

-Experience/Knowledge of Node.js, Python, Apache Spark, Apache Hudi and Typescript.

-Experience/Knowledge with one or more reporting tools like DOMO, Quicksight
