Job Description :

We are looking for a Java API Developer to be part of an esteemed financial institution.

Responsibilities:

• Design, Develop, Test & Release enhancements to Java applications including re-engineering / strategic changes, major projects, small enhancements, production fixes and production support.
• Provide Level 3 support to internal Wealth Banking applications.
• Work closely with business in managing day to day issues, resolve application fixes.
• Perform in-depth research and identify sources of production issues surrounding the Java suite of applications.

Technical Skills

• At least 7 years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Hands-on experience on API related activities: requirement analysis, design, resource-based API modelling.
• Good programming skills using J2EE, Design Patterns, SOAP/REST Web Services, XSLT, Spring Framework, etc.
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing web services using API Protocols and Data Formats (REST, JSON, SOAP & XML).
• Experience with deployment tools such as Jenkins, Git.
• Experience with Incident management processes.
• Comfortable operating in a high-pressure environment while managing incidents across a global business.
• Ability to quickly and accurately develop enhancements to reference data applications, based on business analyst specifications or technical designs and respond to production incidents and support queries.
