Job Description :

IBM Application Consultants work directly with our clients on key initiatives. You will have the opportunity to build an in-depth understanding of their business issues and implement organizational strategies that drive adoption of change. We are looking for experts who can build credibility and trust with our clients and provide knowledge that addresses individual and unique business needs.

Who you are:

• Should be able to collaborate and work with the global teams.
• Experience with microservices and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Strong experience with Spring and Spring Boot, , Spring Data, Spring Security
• Experience with Web Services (JSON, REST, JAX-RS, Spring based REST services)
• Strong with Java and J2EE/Java EE
• Strong understanding of Java concurrency, concurrency patterns, experience building thread safe code
• Experience working with NOSQL DB like Mongo, Cassandra etc.
• Experience with at least one of the development tools like Git, Gradle, Maven, Sonar, Jenkins, Artifactory etc
• Experience with web application servers like Tomcat, Jetty, JBoss etc
• Experience with TDD, code testability standards, JUnit/Mockito
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD model of development
• Good understanding of OOP, design patterns, Reactive programming and industry best practices
• Agile project experience along with working on Agile tools like JIRA
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Min 5 Yrs of Java Backend Development. Java 8 , Spring, SpringBoot, SpringCloud,REST Services, Microservices, NoSQL db, Kafka/MQ, CI/CD, Cloud, Design Pattern;
• Good to have - Basics of any JS based UI development.
