Job Description :

Starfinder, a personnel selection agency dedicated exclusively to the ICT sector (www.starfinder.it), is looking for an IT Application Engineer for a prestigious Group operating in the field of services with offices in Italy and abroad.

The resource sought will carry out activities of analysis of application problems, propose solutions, report the main problems and deal with their prevention. He will collaborate with external suppliers and with the internal Help Desk for the definition of technical solutions and system evolutions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience gained in a similar role and possibly in multinational companies and has the following characteristics:

Degree in computer engineering or equivalent.

Fluent level of knowledge of Italian and good knowledge of English.

High level of autonomy in the management of complex situations.

Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SOA, API, Enterprise Service Bus, Open data, Microservices, Event-driven IT and predictive analytics.

Experience in exposing and understanding existing, new and emerging technologies and computing environments.

Strong leadership skills to manage various IT vendors and their developers/team leaders, geographically distributed around the world.

Excellent analytical and technical skills.

Excellent design and organizational skills.

Proven experience in team management.

Ability to apply multiple solutions to business problems.

Knowledge of the administration of Windows and/or Linux systems, a programming language (Java, PHP, Python, .NET) and SQL (Microsoft SQL, MySQL) will be considered a plus.
