    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
    • 4 years of experience working in product management, product distribution/launch and partnership, and/or business development.
    • Ability to speak and write in English and Korean fluently.
       

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Knowledge or interest in consumer electronics and the mobile ecosystem value chain (e.g., silicon, operating systems, app developers, etc.).
    • Ability to operate independently with a high attention to detail and to function effectively with multiple cross-functional teams, including partner-facing teams.
    • Ability to navigate complex environments with excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Willingness and interest to try and take on new initiatives, with a growth mindset.
    • Ability to travel 20% of the time internationally as needed.

    The Android Business, Growth, and Go-To-Market (GTM) team's goal is to help grow and nurture a computing ecosystem with our Android original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partners. We are responsible for identifying market trends, creating market demands, collaborating with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partners, scaling out initiatives to grow and innovate the Android ecosystem. As a member of the Global Platforms and Ecosystems Device team, you will help grow and cultivate Google’s computing ecosystems (e.g., mobile, devices and services, health), leading growth, distribution, and strategic product partnerships with partners.

Our team provides meaningful solutions — from helping publishers and developers grow their businesses through monetization solutions, to helping our long-term partners anticipate and navigate change in a way that delivers economic and reputational value. We build and distribute products through partnerships across a multitude of product areas, including Ads, Search & Assistant, Geo, Platforms & Ecosystems, Devices & Services, Health, Retail, Payments, Next Billion Users, and more. We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with our most complex and strategic partners.

    Responsibilities
     

    • Partner closely with Platforms & Ecosystems Product and Engineering teams to define, build, and grow Google’s computing platforms with partners (e.g., Android, Google’s operating system for mobile phones and tablets, WearOS for Wearables, and Health platform).
    • Help commercialize and launch first-of-kind products and form factors (e.g., phones) and serve as a product representative with key global device partners.
    • Help distribute Google services, such as YouTube, Google Play, Search, Assistant, and digital wallet products through the platform, and help ensure these services are integrated well within the platform and on devices.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to lead full-stack go-to-market initiatives to drive business of partner devices and market expansion of Google platforms, including activities such as leading channel promotions, building up developer ecosystems for emerging form factors, or creating first-of-kind device growth programs.
